Your medical, dental, and vision benefits continue through the end of your final month of employment.

Arkadium benefits are administered through TriNet. After your separation, you'll receive a formal COBRA election packet by physical mail β expect it within about 14 days. It includes:
- Your coverage continuation options
- Monthly premium pricing
- Step-by-step enrollment instructions
πCOBRA coverage
- Available for up to 18 months
- You have 60 days to elect coverage
- Coverage begins the first of the month following separation

πAlternative coverage
You don't have to use COBRA. You can also shop for a plan on the public marketplace:
- Enroll at healthcare.gov
- Losing job-based coverage qualifies you for a 60-day Special Enrollment Period

Wellbeing support
β€οΈEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
Transitions are a lot to carry. Your EAP is provided through AllOne Health at no cost β to you and your eligible family members β even if you never enrolled in TriNet benefits. After separation, you and your family can keep using EAP services for up to 90 days.
- Up to 3 in-person visits per incident, covered in full
- Annual telephonic guidance and consultation sessions with an EAP counselor
- Confidential support for personal, family, and work-related concerns
- Online tools for career, parenting, child & elder care, legal, and financial matters
On the phone line, press 1 to speak with a counselor or 2 for a referral. You can also reach the EAP through the TriNet portal (Benefits › My Benefits › Health and Wellness › Employee Assistance Program), or scan the QR code on the AllOne Health member portal to get the mobile app.

401(k) & compensation
πΌYour 401(k)
Your Arkadium 401(k) is administered through Empower. After separation:
- You'll receive rollover and distribution options within 3β4 weeks
- You keep access to your account
- No additional contributions can be made
Use Empower to review your balance, make rollover or withdrawal decisions, and manage your retirement account.
π΅Final pay
In line with New York State requirements, your final wages are paid no later than the next regularly scheduled payday for the pay period in which your separation occurs.

Equipment return
You'll receive a prepaid return shipping label from Brook Roses (Operations). Use it to send back the items below β no trip to the office needed.

Frequently asked questions
When will I get my COBRA information?
You'll receive a formal letter from TriNet by physical mail within about 14 days of your termination. It has everything you need to enroll.

What happens to my HRA funds?
All unused HRA funds are forfeited immediately upon termination. There's no reimbursement access after employment ends.
Can I still access my HSA funds?
Yes. Your HSA converts to a personal account and the full balance remains yours to use.
Do I need to return all of my equipment?
No β only core company-issued equipment (your laptop and its accessories). Monitors and small peripherals like your headset, keyboard, and mouse are yours to keep.
